Download Acard
Free, no account needed. Your notes are saved on your computer, and your AI agents can write to them.
Windows
If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows does not recognise it. Signing is being set up.
macOS
The first time you open it, macOS says Apple could not verify it, because the app is not notarized yet.
- Drag Acard to Applications and open it once, then click Done.
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
- Confirm with your password. After that it opens normally.
Linux
AppImage: Open a terminal in the download folder. Replace
tar.gz: Unpack the archive, open a terminal in the extracted folder containing
VERSION with the downloaded version, then run chmod +x Acard-VERSION-linux-x86_64.AppImage and ./Acard-VERSION-linux-x86_64.AppImage.tar.gz: Unpack the archive, open a terminal in the extracted folder containing
acard, and run ./acard.Your data stays yours
Notes live in one folder on your computer (%APPDATA%\Acard on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/Acard on Mac). Uninstalling keeps it.
Updates itself
The Windows app checks for a new version when it starts and asks you to restart. Your notes are not touched.
Publish when you want
Connect an acard.dev account from the app to publish pages and keep cloud backups.
